The Spring is on a mission to use consumer spending as a force for good. Born out of Carrotmob, The Spring gives people an easy way to fund community projects and earn cash back just by dining out. We’re a social enterprise working to bring new life to communities by strengthening the connection between good people, good businesses and the values we share. We're looking for a passionate visual designer to conceptualize and create beautiful artwork to tell the story of The Spring as we grow.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging visuals for our website, emails, blog posts, promotions and social media campaigns

Your experience and skills:

  • Adobe Illustrator skills
  • Icon creation, graphic illustration, an eye for layout
  • Basic photography and photo editing skills

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging content including copy, photos and visuals for email communications, products, website, and marketing materials.

Your skills and experience:

  • Creative copywriter that inspires with wit and humor
  • Savvy social media campaign developer
  • Visually minded with an eye for design and layout

Bonus points:

  • Experience managing an online-offline community
  • Design and basic photo editing skills

Job opening: Community Sales Executive

Our Mission: Use consumer power as a force for good.

We created The Spring to give people the power to fund meaningful projects that enhance our communities. By pooling together a small portion of our everyday spending at local businesses associated with the cause, we believe we can create a powerful new source of money to bring new life to the local projects that we all want to see happen. We also believe loyalty for local businesses goes much further than enticing consumers with discounts. Loyalty is an emotional concept, and we’ve designed our product to build emotional connections between conscious consumers and socially responsible businesses.

We need your help!!

The Spring needs to expand our reach of partnerships to scale our mission, and we need to do it quickly! We’re gathering top notch evangelists who want to roll up their sleeves, spread the word, and form lasting, fruitful relationships with local businesses. We need motivated, passionate, and super charismatic professionals to clearly articulate the benefits of joining The Spring to businesses, and do so in an efficient manner.

During the next couple months, we will be proving that our model works. We will also be identifying who has the abilities to be a permanent part of our team. During this time we won’t offer salaries. However, we will offer stock options. Soon after, we will create permanent, paid positions. This is for people who believe in The Spring, want to see it succeed, and want to be well-positioned for an incredible job a couple months down the line.

The Task at Hand:

  • Manage your own prospects, utilizing online, offline, and personal resources to cultivate new partnerships
  • High volume of daily outbound calls & meetings with business owners, initially focused in the restaurant industry
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals, and have no reservations going in for the close.
  • Perfect the art of presentation, and deliver a multifaceted marketing message with clarity, purpose, and poise.

You Possess:

  • BA/BS degree and 1+ years of sales, account management, or professional partnerships
  • Ability to succeed within a high volume sales environment in conjunction with driving the full sales cycle from start to finish: cold calls, building pipelines and closing business.
  • Relentlessly positive attitude and incredible work ethic.
  • Understanding of industry competitive landscape, trends, and existing eCommerce marketing options for restaurant owners.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a clear understanding of how to assess prospect needs to meet client’s objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
